This year, UNIOR Components successfully renewed and extended the lease contract for business facilities and premises with PWO SEE d.o.o., a member of the renowned international group PWO Group, for the next ten years.

The ten-year contract extension confirms that UNIOR Components is a reliable partner for long-term investments and business development.

Solar power plant No. 7 covers a roof area of 1163 m² and consists of 360 panels. The total power of the power plant is 230 kWp AC, while the projected annual production is around 263 MWh.

Today, a total of 5930 m² of roof area is covered by as many as 2450 solar panels, which results in a total power of 1044 kWp AC and a projected annual production of 1265 MWh.

The central event of the family day was the now traditional 3×3 football tournament, in which 6 teams from all three production plants participated.

In the final of the tournament, the teams of “Tocila” and “Gagini Orlići” met and the “Gagini Orlići”  came out on top with the following composition: Saša Milisavljević, Stefan Spasojević, Nikola Borisavljević and Dušan Milenković. In addition to trophy and medals, the winners also received a prize in the form of a weekend at Zlatibor.

In the fun zone, our youngest could enjoy the tricks performed by funny animators and magicians, as well as dart football, PS5 tournament, table football, table tennis, shot strength measurement. About 250 members of the UC family visited this event, and an even larger number of visitors is expected next year.

Coating of unior Componets’ broaching tools will be available in Kragujevac by the middle of 2025.  By signing the contract on the construction and lease of a hall for the Oerlikon (HQ in Switzerland) within the UNIOR Components’ Ecosystem in Kragujevac, the cooperation between these two companies was made official.

The global leader in the field of surface protection, which operates in 38 countries of the world, brings to these areas the most innovative technology of PVD coating, which  was not directly available on the market until now.

The arrival of “Oerlikon” in Serbia is particularly significant for all toolmakers in the region and companies from the metal processing sector, but also for companies from the auto and aviation industry, which until now have solved their requirements for coating abroad.  From the middle of next year, coating services will be available directly in Kragujevac.

Due to the need for a PVD coating service provider on the tools it produces, “UNIOR Components” has been patiently looking for a partner for this type of services. After intensive discussions with representatives of “Oerlikon”, a final agreement was reached, which was made official by signing the contract on 24.04.2024.

A 1,200 square meter hall will be built within the technological park of “UNIOR Components” for the needs of “Oerlikon”, which the global leader in the field of surface protection will lease for a period of ten years.

“UNIOR Components” will invest 1.2 million euros in this project. On the other hand, “Oerlikon” will invest about 1.5 million Swiss francs in the market of Serbia, as well as the former Yugoslavia, through state-of-the-art equipment.

Today, “UNIOR Components” is the leading manufacturer of broaches in Europe and a long-standing supplier for the automotive, aerospace and defense industries. Thanks to this investment, which will be realized with its own funds, it will become one of the two manufacturers of broaching tools in Europe that have a complete production process in their company.

The document regulates fundamental cooperation in terms of mutual notification of needs and provision of personnel, as well as in the area of promoting dual education and the National Framework of Qualifications. Also, the need for new qualification standards in the field of mechanical engineering and metallurgy was mapped.

Sixth solar power plant is the smallest so far and it covers a roof area of 240 m² and consists of 72 panels. The total power of the power plant is 39 KWp AC, while the projected annual production is around 54 MWh.

Today, a total of 4767 m² of roof area is covered by as many as 2090 solar panels, which results in a total power of 813 KWp AC and a projected annual production of 2369 MWh. A detailed overview of all power plants is available in the image below:
